Location: Mount Lebanon – Lebanon
The project is inspired from the user direct approach to a castle in Mount-Lebanon, widely found in Aley Area, where his interaction is interrupted by a water element with a look of a helix shape. The design is formulated through this experience, introduced as a new language of architecture, adding a landscape, a huge water tank and a parking near the old existing castle. The aim is to separate the experiment of the busy life from the peaceful and relaxing lifestyle. The landscape is articulated with the parking via a connecting water system demarking the ramp. This open void allows active ventilation and natural light as well as it connects public functions; the gym and the sitting area embedded in the landscape.
